Think I found the cause of the problem - tight FHL/FDL - basically big toe dysfunction. Massaged the crap out of it, heat pack, deep heat before running, and was able to run relatively comfortably for 40mins. Could have gone for longer but didn't want to make the same mistake as earlier this week. Smart I is.
Foot's in a bucket of ice water, will massage more later.
